This document provides instructions for trained service technicians to install Versa-

Rails in a four-post rack cabinet. One VersaRail kit is required for each system to be

installed in the rack.

Before attempting this installation you should read through this entire document

carefully.

For procedures on installing your system in the rack, see your Rack Installation Guide.



The kit includes the following items (see Figure 1-1):



One pair of VersaRails



Twelve 10-32 x 0.500 countersink Phillips-head screws



Twelve #10 conical washers


