24. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and click Properties.

25. Select Use the following IP address and type 192.168.1.201 (on the Dell PowerEdge R710-1) and

192.168.1.211 (on the Dell PowerEdge R710-2) for the IP address, and type 255.255.255.0 for the

Subnet Mask.

26. Type 192.168.1.250 for the preferred DNS address.

27. Click OK.

28. Click OK.

29. Right-click the second client NIC, and select Properties.

30. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and click Properties.

31. Select Use the following IP address and type 192.168.1.202 (on the Dell PowerEdge R710-1) and

192.168.1.212 (on the Dell PowerEdge R710-2) for the IP address, and type 255.255.255.0 for the

Subnet Mask.

32. Type 192.168.1.250 for the preferred DNS address.

33. Click OK.

34. Click OK.

35. Click Start.

36. Right-click Computer, and select Properties.

37. Click Advanced System settings.

38. Select the Computer Name tab, and click Change.

39. Select the Domain checkbox, and type domain.company.com

40. Click OK.

41. Enter the Domain login info, and click OK.

42. Click OK.

43. Click OK.

44. Click Close.

45. Click Restart Now.

46. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to log in.

47. Select Switch User.

48. Select Other User.

49. Log in as Domain\Administrator.

50. Click Start ÆAdministrative Tools ÆiSCSI Initiator.

51. Click Yes.

52. Select the Discovery Tab.

53. Click Discovery Portal...

54. Type 192.168.130.101 and click OK.

55. Type 192.168.131.101 and click OK.

56. Type 192.168.130.102 and click OK.

57. Type 192.168.131.102 and click OK.

58. Select the Targets Tab.

59. Click the MD3000i, and click Log On.

60. Check Automatically restore this connection when the system boots.

61. Check the Enable multi-path checkbox, and click Advanced.

62. Local Adapter: Set to Microsoft iSCSI Initiator.

63. Source IP: Select 192.168.130.201 (on the Dell PowerEdge R710-1) and 192.168.130.211 (on the

Dell PowerEdge R710-2)

64. Target Portal: Select 192.168.130.101(iSCSI port 0-0)

65. Click OK.

66. Click OK.

67. Click the MD3000i, and click Log On.

68. Check Automatically restore this connection when the system boots.

69. Check the Enable multi-path checkbox, and click Advanced.
