150 RACADM Subcommand Details

Synopsis

racadm vmkey <action>

If <action> is configured as reset, the vFlash memory is reset to the

default size of 256 MB and removes all data from it.

NOTE: This command is deprecated from iDRAC6 1.5 and iDRAC6 3.0 releases

onwards. The functionality of this command is now covered by vflashsd

initialize

. While execution of the vmkey reset command is

successful, it is recommended to use the vflashsd initialize

command. For more information, see "vflashsd" on page 145.
